360 degree view through media extends the viewer’s role from passive recipient to neutral onlooker or even to an active observer. In “Hear the Wind_Across the Border”, viewers confront a 360 degree sight of landscapes looked through the perspectives from Imjingak; Yeonmijeong in Ganghwado; Yongsan redevelopment area; and the site of the Admiral and the historical statue of Lee Soonshin in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, Korea. The artist throws in an underlying question to the viewers who became the independent observers on the visually opposed South and North, generations and individuals and groups.
